  1. Thanks for purchasing Widget Workshop! 
  2. Because we had all this free space on the CD-ROM, 
  3. we decided to put some extra goodies on for your 
  4. enjoyment.
  5.  
  6. In the E-Reg directory is the electronic registration 
  7. program. With it, you can print out a pre-designed 
  8. product registration form or send it via modem 
  9. automagically! If you did not register Widget Workshop
  10. during installation, you can run the EREG.EXE file 
  11. in the Ereg directory at any time. Note that you can 
  12. only use E-Reg once for each product, but it will 
  13. save your registration information to be used should 
  14. you E-Reg another Maxis product.

  16. In the AOL directory, you'll find a copy of AOL for 
  17. Windows (and Windows95).  Simply run SETUP.EXE to install
  18. America OnLine on your computer.  Use the password you'll
  19. find on the leaflet in your Widget Workshop box for 10 free
  20. hours on America OnLine!

  22. In the demos directory, you'll find the excellent 
  23. Maxis CD-ROM Sampler. Over 200 megs of interactive 
  24. demos, Quicktime movies, and product information on 
  25. just about everything Maxis sells. It's quite cool. 
  26. To install the CD-ROM sampler, run the INSTALL.EXE 
  27. program in the DEMOS directory from Windows. 
  28. DON'T RUN THE SETUP.EXE PROGRAM! It's for Quicktime 
  29. and won't install the cool Demo icons! The CD-ROM 
  30. Sampler disk only installs Quicktime and program 
  31. icons to your hard disk (If you have 200 megs free 
  32. on your hard disk, you could probably copy it over.) 
  33. so you'll need to have the Widget Workshop CD-ROM in 
  34. your CD-ROM drive when you try and run any of the 
  35. demos.
